Frequently asked questions
- Doors will be scheduled to be unlocked for 1 hour, 30 minutes prior to event and 30 minutes after start of event for those who come late
- If it is a conference, the freight elevator can be unlocked. Otherwise card access is required for the freight elevator. Please contact your coordinator for this. The main elevators are unlocked at all times during business hours.
- Key card access is available for the host of the event and rental/catering companies if needed. Not returning the card results in an automatic $15 fee.
We have a 3-tier cart and a dolly upon availability.
- If out of state, you may ship items to the BCLS in coordination with the coordinator up to two (2) weeks in advance.
- If local, you may bring items 24-48 hours in advance of event.
Yes, you may bring your own A-frames. However, ASU does have strict policies on what is displayed on A-frames. Please refer to the website below for rules. If you plan on using your own, No signage is allowed outside the reserved event space, including the doors leading into the event space, without prior approval. Please submit a signage plan to your event coordinator seven days in advance.
- Individuals may bring their own packed lunch. Otherwise, please refer to the food and beverage tab for the ASU-approved catering list. No potlucks allowed.
- Prepackaged snacks and drinks are allowed. We often use Costco to help with savings.
- If you are having a reception, you can bring your own alcohol, but a bartender must serve it.
- We exclusively use Bright Rentals for fencing as they already have our buildings measurements and highly recommend them for their other available items
- We recommend Pro Em for security.

Please let your coordinator know as soon as possible if an elected official is being invited to an event. It must be documented in the Registration and coordination must take place with ASU Police Department. Additional charges may apply if ASU Police Department deems it necessary to patrol an event.
If items are lost, please contact your coordinator or check in the first-floor lobby with our secretary administrative, Estella, to see if it has been found.
